Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 15, 2026

Welcome to Little Bedtime Stories, operated by ScoopLabs Tech. We are committed to protecting your family's privacy and ensuring a safe environment for your children.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect personal data such as your email address when you create an account to sync your library across devices. We also collect anonymized analytics regarding app usage (e.g., most-read stories, app crashes) to improve our services.

2. Voice Recordings (Microphone Access)

Our app features a narration tool allowing parents to record their own voices for stories. Microphone access is required for this functionality. All audio recordings are processed locally on your device and securely uploaded to our encrypted cloud servers solely for syncing to your account. We do not listen to, share, or sell your voice recordings.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our services are directed toward families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All interactive features, including voice recording and purchases, are protected by a Parental Gate. If we discover that a child has provided personal information without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers (such as Supabase for database management and authentication) which process data in compliance with GDPR and CCPA. We do not serve third-party advertisements in our app.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and recordings as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated policy on this page.
